Memberships expire December 31 each year. You must have a valid membership in order to enter a show and be eligible for awards.

2025 was a great year for membership. Total fees collected were the highest in five years.
107 Memberships Purchased in 2025:
•17 Youth x $5 = $85
•21 Family x $100 = $2,100
•69 Individual x $60 = $4,100
•Total Purchased = $6,325
If you take the Family Memberships purchased and split the family members into Youth and Individual Memberships, you end up with 21 actual Youth Members and 111 Individual Members = 142 Total Members in SCHA
The SCHA strongly recommends that each member carry their own insurance ie. available through the Saskatchewan Horse Federation.

It is highly recommended that horseback riders of any age wear a high impact helmet and footwear appropriate for riding.
