Congratulations to Katie Anderson who was awarded the 2022 Youth Scholarship in the amount of $1,000!
Katie is the daughter of Dale and Cheryl Anderson. She grew up along with her brothers on their family’s Twin X Ranches near Rockglen, SK. She attended Rockglen School, where she maintained amazingly high marks, while following in her family’s footsteps with heavy involvement with High School and Little Britches Rodeo.

 

Her Mom, Cheryl started cutting Saskatchewan in 2010, while Katie first crossed the time line in 2014. Katie has maintained her membership every year since. Within the SHSRA, Katie was the Cutting Champion in 2019-2020, 2020-2021 and Reserve Champion in 2021 - 2022. Additionally Katie has served as the Cutting Director for three years, Reined Cow Horse Director for one year and was a National Youth Cutting Horse Association Director for 2022 - 2023.
