Celebrating 70 Years of SCHA

1956 to 2026

In November of 1955, a group of like-minded people gathered to form the Saskatchewan Cutting Horse Association (SCHA). 

 

The 1955 organizing committee consisted of:

President:  Ford Beavis

Vice President: Gib Potter

Secretary / Treasurer:  Harold Lochrey

Directors included:  Dave Bodrug, Roy Elder, Stan Taylor, Cy Udell, Roy Stewart, Tommie Barr and Bob Jones
